The best Drawboard PDF alternative is Okular, which is both free and Open Source. It seems the “ Save As” is crucial in this process. There are more than 25 alternatives to Drawboard PDF for a variety of platforms, including Windows, Linux, Mac, Android and iPhone apps. A few days adjusting some default settings to your taste will make it more acceptable. Okular does have some some limitations (and quirks). good for most simple edits / annotations. “You can save data typed into this form” if saving has been enabled. You may like to consider two or even three possible choices as no single application may contain ALL the capabilities you are looking for. Other options include Evince, the default PDF reader for Ubuntu, which also has a read out loud feature that can be enabled with the Orca. It supports a wide range of document formats, allows annotations and forms, and has a built-in read out loud feature. The purple document message bar will say: The best PDF reader for Ubuntu with a read out loud feature is Okular. If you are using the free Adobe Reader it willĭepend on whether the creator of your form enabled the form for saving form data.
